 · Aethra Chronicles - Revisited. While browsing the internet I came across an old RPG called Aethra Chronicles. A few screenshots and a short introduction revealed it was released in as a shareware game. Later it seems it was released as freeware although I haven´t found any official site for this old game.  · The Aethra Chronicles: Volume One: Celystra's Bane is a shareware medieval role-playing game in the tradition of SSI's Dungeons Dragons licensed Gold Box RPGs. Taking it's inspiration from that, the game uses a similar system based on die rolls against stats/skill combinations. Players begin by creating three characters, choosing their class User Interaction Count: The Aethra's Chronicles is the only game ever made based on the Role-Master system, a pencilpaper game similar to ADD but based on percentage instead of dices. Note that the publisher of the Role-Master system have closed their doors, which provides to Aethra's Chronicles a double taste of nostalgia.

It provides you with basic information of how to create the characters and how the user interface works but no details of how the game mechanics works, if there are any race/class modifiers and so on and no description of any spells.
